1-4: These are a family of "panpipes" that are traditional
to the highlands of Peru and Bolivia. They are made from many
types of bamboo that grow around the lakes and rivers of the Andes,
and are fashioned into a double row of end-blown tubes. Sikus
date from long before the Incan empire.
5. Rondador. A single-row Zampoņa traditional to Ecuador.
6. Antara. A distinctly Peruvian single-row-type of zampoņa.
7.Huayra. From the Quechua word meaning wind.This bamboo instrument is open at both ends
and is cupped by both hands.
8. Quenas. A family of end-blown flutes of different sizes.The largest is called a quenacho,
the smallest is called a quenilla.
